The Canadian Institutes of Health Research has provided approximately $5M to research teams at the University of Alberta for two new cross-Canada clinical trials to help prevent hepatitis C and treat long COVID.
The Government of Alberta is providing $340,000 to Joey’s Home, a supportive housing facility operated by the Winnifred Stewart Association in Edmonton. The funding will be used to create five new housing units, set to open in 2025, and for renovations on an associated facility.
