The Fairmont Queen Elizabeth, a hotel in Montréal, has temporarily closed for the holiday season. Six-hundred unionized employees have been affected by the measure, which is due to a labour dispute.

Camp et Auberge du Lac en Cœur, a summer camp in Lac-aux-Sables, is investing over $1.3 M in renovating its guesthouse thanks to contributions from private donors and various partners

Hotel Mont Gabriel in Sainte-Adèle invested over $25M, including $5M from the Government of Quebec, in rebuilding the property following a fire. The hotel also has a number of positions to fill for its reopening this fall.
The Municipalité de Côte-Nord-du-Golfe-du-Saint-Laurent will have a campground in the village of Kegaska. The campground will include sites for tents, motorized vehicles, and small cabins. The campground will be operational in 2025.
