An undisclosed number of layoffs at Winnipeg radio station CJOB occured in late November which include two local on-air personalities. Corus Entertainment, owner of CJOB and dozens of other radio and TV stations, cut more than 800 full-time positions in 2024. A source at CJOB says numerous layoffs have occurred over the last three months, including in office administration, marketing and promotions, and production.
